Wow, where did the time go, fall has come and gone, and with it a great 2009 bowhunting season.  For CEWO first full season outfitting I would have to say I am tickled to death with the results from 2009.   We had a total of 11 bucks harvested, 7 misses and 30 antlerless deer harvested.   Every hunter in camp was able to at least see a shooter and some multiple shooter bucks throughout their weeks hunt.  It was a growing year, learning the ropes of running an outfitting business full time, I did the best I could and feel the results speak for themselves, a 55% success rate & an opportunity percentage of 80%; I thank God for sending all the clients He sent this year, will learn from you all and try to keep improving from year to year, thanks for booking with CEWO and I look forward to the returning clients and meeting new hunters in 2010 season.

 My experiences I have had hunting with Close Encounter Whitetail Outfitters will be with me forever.  I must say the hunts with Eric have been by far the best hunting experiences I have ever encountered.  From the great hospitality Eric and his family show to the most amazing managed deer herd I have ever come across.  Eric is truly located in one of the best trophy whitetail hot spots in the world.  I would like to thank Eric and his family for helping me harvest two amazing bucks and showing me the time of my life.  Eric’s vast knowledge of whitetails makes him an amazing guide and with all the tools he has in his toolbox he will surely put you in a spot with the greatest chances of success!
